Lightweight Snow Shoes - 12/18/17 12:08 PM

I'm not up to speed on the latest and greatest and lightest snowshoes that are popular today. Just wondering what folks are using.

I had a pair of Northern Lite snow shoes for many years that served me well. What do you use?

In the White mountains of New Hampshire these are very popular they have heel lifts to help keep your foot in a horizontal angle while ascending a mountain. Made of aluminum, traction aid under the foot and the circumference of the snowshoe. MSR snowshoes

I haven't used my Northern Lites for maybe 15 years or so but they look to be in pretty good shape and I think I will try them again this season.
