Florida Trail

I'm planning to hike the northern ~half of the Florida Trail starting in January. What's not to like about a trail with little elevation gain, that you can hike in January! :-)

I'm sure that I'll find out, but looking forward to it anyway.

The Florida Trail has its own challenges. Plan on getting your feet wet. Personally, I prefer to keep my boots dry so carry Teva water shoes for the wet sections and water crossings. On the chance you haven't thougt of it, remember to get the phone number for the shuttle across the St. Marks river.
