Day Dreaming

During 4th of July weekend in Tennessee the temperatures were high 73ish. It was nice cool, low humidity for the east coast. Temperature dropped into low 60s high 50s. very unusual for July. It was such a tease, because now I'm ready for fall. My current job lets me work 7:30-5:30 Monday-Thursday and 7:30-11:30am on Friday. So, on Friday this fall I'm leaving early and heading to nearest trailhead! Thinking of Shining Rock Wilderness, The Roan Highlands, Standing Indian Loop in the Nantahala..

Anyone else got big plans for the fall?

I am going to try and finish the C& O Canal towpath. I am section hiking it.
