Great Glen Way

Has anyone here hiked the Great Glen Way in Scotland? It looks like a pretty relaxing trip and it would really be neat to hike along Loch Ness. Sometimes it is nice to just take it easy. Slightly boring is not alway bad. Besides you may see Nessie.

I am thinking about going in September. Not too hot or too cool and bugs should be less.

I drove the Great Glen about a month ago; the country is beautiful. We missed seeing Nessie. My wife and I plan a month in Scotland next year, we'll rent a flat in Dunblane, and I am trying to decide whether to hike the West Highland Way or the Great Glen Way while we are there. On the WHW, I would finish on top of Ben Nevis, with the GGW, I would start on top of Ben Nevis.
