Camera Cases - 04/04/13 09:34 PM

I do mostly canoeing and need something waterproof to keep my photo/video gear in, but sometimes we just go backpacking and need something smaller and lighter, so I've put together a little video 'tip' segment showing a few choices for camera cases when venturing into the backcountry.

I was expecting something more along the lines of the Dicapac, which I just used on my canoe trip with a Canon S100.

Pelican cases are great to have around. Once you have one, you're constantly finding new uses for it and wanting more. It's a pain to carry in my pack but if I'm going to carry my camera gear, I'm not going to take any chances on something happening. I've seen guys carry thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment climbing and caving and tossing their cases ahead of them straight onto rocks and in water and never had an issue.
