Hello to everyone. I just found this site and it is wonderfully informative. I am guessing this goes in this forum and I sincerely apologize that this question has probably been asked a thousand times before. In any case...
I have been shopping for a hard shell jacket and cannot seem to pull the trigger no matter how many reviews I look at. I want to make sure I am looking in all the right places and not just on the chain store websites. I would like the following features:
Waterproof
Pit Zips
Removable Hood
Warm enough to wear (with layers) down to mid-20's
Cool enough for strenous exercise (i.e. Biking)
Packable (I would forgive a couple of ounces for durablility)
My budget is fairly open but I don't really want to spend more than a couple of hundred. Thanks in advance.
