Thanks!

I just wanted to say thanks for all who post on here. I will be 42 this year and just beginning to backpack. I'm glad to know that I have many more years of backpacking ahead of me. So, thanks for making me realize that I can hike for many, many more years!

I can tell you personally that age is no where near the obstacle to enjoying life that your overall health can be. Take care of yourself best you can. I have quite a few strikes against me and the Doc's cringe when I tell them of our adventures. When you are challenged you can give up or dig a little deeper and press on. Like I always say to my better half I would sooner meet my maker doing the things we love than at home on the couch.
