How Viable is an One Acre Farm - 01/13/12 05:08 PM

I can usually find hard-to-find books, but I have been unsuccessfully looking for the following book for several years. I'm not even sure how good it is, but I would like to find out. So now I'm taking a chance that someone here has heard of it or might know where I can get my hands on a copy. Of course I am willing to pay a fair price. Either edition is fine.

One acre truffle farm? One acre of endive? One (watery) acre oyster farm? What else is very high margin?

Any way, good luck!

Perry-try Google Books, Couldn't find any for sale, but they have a list of libraries that have it. Looks like the closest one to you is at Duke in NC.

Duke U. is kind of far. I'm still looking though. What would really suck is I find the book and it turns out to be a dud. I like to think I learn something from everything though; even duds have something of value.

I was able to see one page from it on Google Books. From what I could figure out, it is short -59 pages, written 30 years ago and is about the economics of a one acre farm in India. I'm not sure how relevant it would be, even in India today.

Btw Aimless, surely you can figure out what else is high margin (if not particularly legal).

-englische bücher

And both are out of stock
-Temporairement en rupture de stock
-Derzeit nicht auf Lager

Will your local library do an inter-library loan? I have had incredible experiences every time I have talked to a librarian about tracking down a hard to find reference. Most librarians have a masters degree and they love answering the tough questions... they didn't get into the business to put books on shelves.

BZH is right--Interlibrary Loan is your best bet!
