Reminds me of the "gear discussion" in Bill Bryson's "A Walk in the Woods." Someone was showing off their pack with a plastic window in one of the compartments so they can see the contents. "You can't open a zipper and look?"

Or, "you're taking so much stuff you can't remember where you put it?"

Plus ... 300 lumens? That's almost enough for brain surgery.

I keep seeing ads for flashlights that will "start a fire" and while that's impressive to watch that's not a feature I want or need in a flashlight.

Especially if you're carrying it in your pocket.
