It's the fearsome mosquito, killing over one million people a year by infecting them with malaria. Other insects snak up there as well, and he doesn't even discuss anaphylactic shock caused by bees, which dispatches about 50 folks a year in this country- far more than the count rung up by tiggers, bares, and lyons.

Looks like you need insect repellant carried in a handy holster....

It's true. In California we lose more folks to West Nile than to all toothed and clawed critters combined. We've also had malaria and yellow fever here as well.

I hate mosquitoes, period.
