Great First Aid Book - 05/05/10 09:19 PM

All

Tango61 or Gorge Medic might have mentioned this earlier, but the American Red Cross and the Boy Scouts collaborated to make a course "Wilderness and Remote First Aid." One of the guards at the local pool had the instructor's guide and the quick reference guide. I just finished reading the quick reference guide and I think that it might be one of the best basic level first aid manuals that I have read (though I am not a medical professional).

Publication date is 2010. URL to the section on the Red Cross website:

From the description is sounds like a great book! Can you buy it anywhere else for less? I wouldn't want to give any support to the Red Cross. I gave blood one time and had a bruise for weeks. Just joking! That is fantastic that they teamed up with the BSA to make this. I might just get it!
