ASU Student Needs Help

Hello,

I am Sunny, a student at ASU and wanted a little bit of help from you guys. I am in the process of designing a trekking/hiking pole and as I am new to this subject, I have no idea where to look for competitor brands. Would you guys mind pointing me in the right direction?

Would you mind telling me the top 6 or 7 selling hiking poles that I could look into?

Go to REI.com. Search for "trekking pole". Look at the brands that they sell.

Check the websites for Leki, Black Diamond, Big Agnes, MSR, and Komperdell for manufacturer information and tech specs. (I feel like I'm missing another major player, but I'm drawing a blank.)

For insight into what people want/like/don't like about specific models, go to Moosejaw, REI or BackcountryGear websites, search "hiking poles," and read the reviews.
