This Kickstarter project is doing pretty good.

Interesting design. I'm not sure it really qualifies as a stove, but it kind of does since it will burn esbit tabs.

I made something like that out of scrap roof flashing. Not as fancy, but it worked and was FREE. 45 is a little outrageous.

I know, and the guy raised over $15k already for that little doodad!

The design is cool but there's no way to justify the $45 price unless he's using that money to get the dies made to cut the material. The dies are expensive but if the end price of the product after they have been made is over $10 it's way to pricey.

The thing is the market for these doesn't seem to justify the investment for the dies. But hey, people seem to like the idea, and he got funded, so we can all learn something from that.

I'm sure after he receive all his funds and business take off the price will drop.. Maybe? haha He just trying raise "free" cash.
