Granite Gears Latest Pack

It looks really cool. Seems like all features geared towards alpine style hikes and climbs. Least just that video! I really like my Granite Gear, but wish the lid actually came with it. The new pack looks more feature loaded than previous packs.

It does look like a very nice pack and lots of volume for a light weight. However, I find I need only 50 L volume for most trips these days because I am packing lighter and less. having said that, I think how it feels on your back will be the real test. I have 5 or 6 backpacks and yet last year I purchased one (Eddie Bauer day pack)for a trip to Arizona (where I was day-hiking only) at a garage sale for $5 and to my delight it is the best fitting, best feeling pack I have ever carried.

I found most of my gear fits in a 30L pack, so I don't really even consider anything bigger.
