Hi lexaaa (or is it Iexaaa?),

Montane has a good reputation for making very lightweight clothing, although they can be hard to find in the States. I have a pair of "Featherlite" shell pants that are great windproofs that pack into a ball the size of a small orange. I have to be very careful around brush and rock, as they would puncture easily.

Cheers,

Hi Lexaaa
I have several items from them and like them all.
The quality is good but have a careful look at the description on their web site.
So for example windproof is not waterproof but maybe water resistant enough for light rain (it is for me...)
There is a new size chart there , so check that too . I normally use M but some of my Montane stuff is in L .
Montane were one of the first to use eVent, so they have a lot of expertise with this material.

Generally considered very high quality. Expensive. Emphasis on light weight. One of the best manufacturers using eVent. The Brits don't fool around with raingear and Montane raingear is among the best. Their excellent Terra Pants are standards in Britain. Moderately hard to find Montane stuff in the U.S.
