G4 Mesh Side Pockets

This has me totally confused, and the figures in the instructions aren't helping matters.

6.1 is this saying to stitch the two 3" cutout together and leave the 1/2" inside corner unsewn?

6.5 I totally don't understand what it means by splitting 1/2" of the bottom corner. This makes no sense to me at all.

I've made a couple of G-4 packs but don't recall these particular steps. I don't have access to my instructions just now; I'll look later today if I can remember. Could you elaborate a bit on what you are trying to do with these two steps? I don't recall the mesh pockets as being particularly complex other than the possibility of winding up with the tie loops inside one of the pockets. I did that once; I spent some time muttering IIRC.

This is where you are attaching the mesh side pocket to the side material.

I'm afraid I can't answer your questions, but I'm wondering, are you using the free online plan or the commercial plans from questoutfitters? Maybe that makes a difference?

I have both, don't see a difference between them.
