MYOG Hollow Point Ultralight Bullets?

After seeing this news article, i am thinking of making my own hollowpoints:

All joking aside, I could honestly see a company accidently shipping fmj's instead of jhp's by mistake. That would SERIOUSLY tick people off. When you consider that a cheap box of fmj's for a 9mm run about 11 dollars for 50 rounds, and premium jhps in the same caliber run about a buck a round, that could be a BIG complaint :P.

I just remembered, this is the forum for the other hobby, so for those of you not familiar with the terms. . . fmj is full metal jacket, the cheap solid bullets for target practice, and jhp are the good but expensive self defense/hunting rounds that expand on impact. And just so everyone knows, incendiary rounds (the flaming ones) are not legal for civilians, you cant actually go out and buy those.

Gimme some of them INFERNO bullets. Might come in handy at work.

I love the shooting sports,But isnt this a ultralight Backpacking forum?

I would just switch to frangible rounds you don't have to worry about overpenetration
