Cheap Lid for you Ti cups - 08/29/08 12:33 PM

As a consummate almond eater I buy them in the cans. I've found over the years that the inner foil seal is quite durable aluminum. Hence, I've taken to carrying one or two in my camp kitchen for stove base, and cup lids. It's formable so you can make a geniune lid, not just one that lies onto the cup, which keeps wind from blowing it off while your tea is steeping. Free once you eat your almonds

I like cashews best. And I don't have a TI cup.

They use the same lid on a cashew can, and you can put it on your aluminum or SS cup.

Maybe I should go through all my trash and packaging before tossing it out. And you wouldn't believe all the trash this house generates. Three women and a dog. Once a week 3 to 4 large trash cans at the curb. I'll see if the lid fits my aluminum cup. To bad I can't recycle without hauling my own trash several miles and burn gas. What a waste. No pun intended.
