I just returned from my second summer in ALaska. I work there seasonally fighting fires from March through October.
I tore my Meniscus last March Post holing in the AK Mtn's.

It finally healed up enough to do some backpacking in July.
I will try to post some pics of a couple of trips.

I packed into Lost Lake just north of Seward, 8 miles in and spent just an overnignt. I was just under 24#. I still need to cut my weight down, I hope to get to 25 pounds total weight including food and have it last a week.

Here are some pics. Lost Lake North of Seward and another Lake which name escapes me now.
