It looks unstable... or alternatively, something an unstable person might find appealing in a pyromaniac sort of way... These shouldn't even be offered for sale in dry states like California. Yikes!

bf if you skied you might find a use for it, but its kinda expensive as torches go. Frankly most any compressed gas stove can get used as a torch. I've used a Bluet to light a campfire in a rain.
But if you are bringing a coffee maker on the trip, then by all means do bring the creme brulee. Jim
