I just got my Big Agnes Seedhouse SL2 tent i decided to spend a night in the yard getting a feel for it and there is already a tear in the floor fabric. It's a perfect 90' angle tear that followed the square pattern of the fabric. I made sure to clear the area of any sharp objects to not poke through. Was I just not careful enough since this is my first UL tent or is this a manufacturer's defect? Other people reviewed the tent and had their dogs inside of them and it lasted for years. I couldn't dare bring my dog inside if this is how flimsy the fabric is.

Contact Big Agnes, their customer service is reputable for being top notch. I have their Seedhouse 1P version, and been using it for 4 years without single defect.

Sounds defective to me. Contact manufacturer or return it to the store.

I had an issue with my Insulated Air core after 18 months and BA was fabulous about replacing it. Very speedy and very polite. Im sure they will handle your tent no differently.

I contacted CampMor and they are going to replace it. Hopefully this was just a bad apple.
